Is one service (Dish Network or DirecTV) better than the other for finding a clear view to the satellite?
That often depends on where you park. With Dish Network, in many parts of the country you have the option to choose the Eastern or Western satellites to receive the same programming. If signal is blocked to one set of satellites, it’s possible you would have an open view to the other satellites and be able to still get your programming. DirecTV uses the same satellites for the entire country, so if signal is blocked you don’t have the alternative satellite option.
