Is older man/younger girl relationships wrong?
Well, it’s been going on in public since… pretty much the beginning of time, so I would say no. There are plenty of situations where it is the opposite, maybe not as many, but it happens either way. I don’t think it is the age that matters, as long as it is a mental fit. Obviously the younger of the two should be of a certain age for it to at least be legal.
How young are we talking about here? If you are under eighteen, then unequivocally yes. However, if you are old enough to be self-supporting, out on your own and have had time to get to know yourself, no. My husband is slightly more than ten years older than me. It has never been an issue. Just keep in mind that women generally live longer than men anyway, so if you marry an old man you may be setting yourself up for a long widowhood.
