The “Air Force One” reference was not a part of the quote but rather the “Statement made by…” And no where in the quoted apology was the “Air Force One” mentioned.

It wasn’t. Don’t try to start a conspiracy theory. It’s easier to refer to it as Air Force One so people know what the government is referring to. If you paid attention to the news at all, you would know that Obama is really pissed about it and starting an investigation into the matter.

The memo you link to makes no mention of AF One. Nor has Obama. I have seen a few statements that refered to it as “the aircraft designated as Air Force One when the president is on board.” If you have some specific statement by Obama, you are the only one who has seen it.
