Is Obama an idiot when it comes to economic issues?
No he is not an idiot. He has some very good pro-growth ideas and some bad ones like the windfall tax. I am not for taxing the oil companies with a windfall tax at all. Frankly it would be better to give them a tax credit (yes I know that they get those already!) if they would invest in alternative sources of energy. I would reward them on how much they invest AND measurable results (such as job creation, and actually moving us towards other sources of energy). To be honest, I am still not sure if additional drilling here (as in Alaska or off shore in the ocean) would make a difference or solve our problems…some days I think so, other days I do not think it would make any difference at all.
Since we are in the soup were in under the Rule of George ‘W’ Bush, seems Bush is the idiot when it comes to economic issues. McCain wants to continue the failing economics that Bush has now. Matters not whom our next President is, they will have to raise Taxes within their first term to pay for the Debts left by Bush.
