Is Obama a Neo-Con who is planning more wars in the Middle East?
Obama IS the third term of Bush and he IS totally committed to continuation of all Bush policy, foreign and domestic. However, I think he only reluctantly continues the existing war policies and cannot possibly intend to expand any of them but it would not shock me if he does. He is at this point indisputably committed to continuation of all economic policies of the past thirty years, not just Bush policy but Reagan and neocon in sheep’s clothing Clinton as well. US politics have swung across the board so far right that Obama is probably truly “center-left” in this climate and context but YES, he is a throwback to classic full blown 1980s neocon through and through.
