Is oatmeal just the same thing as rolled oats?
Porridge does sound more appealing than just the word oatmeal doesn’t it! Yes, after you cook the oats. They are just a grain from the field until they are cooked. When they are cooked they become a meal, then it is called oatmeal or porridge. Raisins or dried apples and cinnamon or brown sugar and cinnamon. You can put all kinds of things in it chocolate, peanut butter, peaches n cream, strawberry n cream, blueberries, cranberries, currants or any dried or fresh fruit or berry!
