NTRUEncrypt is currently under review by the IEEE P1363 working group for inclusion in the 1363B standard. P1363 is the IEEE public key cryptography standard, and includes all well-known cryptographic systems. NTRUEncrypt was formally presented to the P1363 working group at its August 1999 meeting in Santa Barbara, and NTRU Vice-President Joe Silverman was invited to the October 1999 working group meeting in Connecticut to provide further details about NTRUEncrypt and lattice-based cryptography. We expect NTRUEncrypt to be included in the P1363B standard.
