Is nikon a good camera brand?
Nikon is a very good and reliable brand for camera, so is Canon. Nikon has a full range of top quality lenses that make photography a fun hobbies. There will be no shortage of lens available in the used market, even older lens can be used on newer body. In this aspect, Canon lose out as old Canon lens is not usable on new Canon body. For your info, US military, NASA had been using Nikon camera for decades. There must be a reason why they choose Nikon and no one else. Reliability is harsh condition is very critical and Nikon had proven that they are the camera to use.
