Is NewsFlow able to exchange information (search and retrieve content, metadata, commands, etc) with the NRCS, iNEWS, and other production equipment?
The ActiveX embedded control allows an ENPS, Autocue, or iNews user all the functionality of the VT Proxy Browser/Editor and the ability to drag and drop XML data in to the iNews rundown directly from the iNews application. In turn, this information is used by the NRCS to create a Play list on the Apella Playout server, synchronous with the rundown at play-to-air time. Any one or all of the user definable metadata fields can be included with the XML data exchange and therefore archived with the NRCS scripts.
