Is new Lexington station needed?
Do we really need a new fire station or is this just a dream the fire district has to get something new? This building is not that old and they are saying that it cannot be built onto so quarters for firemen can be added. They are saying the building is old and unfit. If this be the case, what kind of engineers to we have in our county? Maybe the county commissioners should take a look at the people we hire to do this job of designing a facility. My feeling is someone is pretty lax in doing their job. I am not opposed to improvements to what we have or enlarging the facility. I just question the need to completely start over. Marvin M.
