Is new delhi in india safe for tourists?
Hi friend. I am an Indian and right in New Delhi. I would suggest you a few things. If you are single lady travelling all alone, definitely do not move out at nights unless you are escorted. Even if you are a male travelling alone, night venturing is not recommended unless you are with some locals. During the day time, if you visit crowded places like any of the markets etc. then please be aware of the pick pockets. Carrying too much cash is also not a good idea. The mantra for any traveler is the same worldwide – try to look like the local crowd. Do not try to appear out of the place.
