Is NetDIVE Open Source License (NOSL) Same as GNU or BSD?
There are many similarities between NOSL and GNU/BSD but they are not exactly the same. Where they are similar is that NetDIVE products software binary are Free, NetDIVE product Source Code is open to review & change for Free under certain conditions. But otherwise NOSL is not a verbatim copy of GNU or traditional Open Source license. It is a rather novel Open Source license with it’s goal being to create a community of NetDIVE software users, programmers & owners that are coming together to create the best software products for Internet communication. Where they are different is that although NetDIVE Source Code is Open for review and change, it is only open to qualified users based on an Enterprise class purchase. And any changes made that results in a product to be used only for the benefit of the changer does not require a loyalty payment to NetDIVE, however any derivative product(s) created form NetDIVE source codes which are offered commercially needs a commercial release license
