To display a 4 digit year, open the Regional Settings -> Date dialog in the Windows Control Panel and set the date format to ‘MM/dd/yyyy’ or ‘dd.mm.yyyy’. While you are in the Regional Settings dialog, check your time display format. It should be ‘hh:mm:ss tt’ for the 12-hour display or ‘HH:mm:ss’ for the 24-hour display. Note the ‘tt’ letters in the 12-hour format. This insures that ‘AM’ or ‘PM’ is displayed properly.
