Is nestle milk safe for children in India?

0

Any baby in a county where the water is not 100% safe should always be fully breastfed wherever possible. Failing this all water should be boiled before being made into formula, and the water added to the formula powder whilst still very, very hot in order to kill any ligering germs or bacteria that may also be lingering in the formula powder. Nestlé have promoted formula use in countries such as India, but it remains that breastfeeding is always the best choice where this is possible- milk is clean, hygienic and readily available, plus the milk has health benefits that formula cannot offer, such as some immunity against illnesses. Formula should only be used as a last resort in such areas of the world.
