Is nestle Good Start the same as NAN formula?
from googling I found that Good Start is an 100% whey protein based formula and I know NAN HA Gold is too, so it is the equivalent so to speak. You want a 100% whey based formula for under 6mths as it is much more similar to breastmilk and much easier to digest. Formulas such as S26 or Heinz Nuture are 60% Whey/40% Cassein so therefore are heavier and harder to digest and should usually be used for babies under 6mths that need to put on more weight or hungrier babies. Over 6mths of age and the follow on formulas are predominantly 80%cassein and 20% whey so be careful when switching over and expect a transition period when it comes to the digestion and possible constipation and wind etc… Although NAN is expensive its worth the extra money to have an 100% whey based formula rather than just a whey dominant formula.
