Is NDC information required on Medi-Cal managed care claims?

0

Medi-Cal has instructed that the managed care plans (MCPs) such as the County Organized Health System (COHS) provide the NDC for drug claims even if the claims are submitted outside of the MCP contract guidelines. Other MCPs such as CalOPTIMA, Central Coast Alliance for Health, Health Plan of San Mateo, Partnership HealthPlan of California and CenCal Health have already been contacted by Medi-Cal about NDC requirements for MCPs. Providers should contact the MCP directly to find out specific information.
