Is Naval Architecture related to Architecture?

0

Not really. The only thing that Naval Architects and Architects have in common is that they both act as co-ordinators of large-scale capital projects. Architects also require substantial training in ‘art and design’ that is applied to the aesthetic appearance of the exterior and interior of a building. This aesthetic aspect is only a very minor part of a Naval Architect’s role in designing a ship.
