Is Nature~Pure Milk produced using artificial hormones?
No farm in Canada is allowed to give cows hormones, therefore there are no artificial hormones in any milk in Canada, whether organic or non-organic. These hormones are illegal in Canada. There has been a lot of news about bovine growth hormones (RBST hormones) in the news, but that news is about the United States, where the regulations are different. 100% of Natrel milk comes from local Quebec farms. None of our milk is imported. Natrel’s filtration system filters out over 99% of the spoilage bacteria in milk, which although harmless, affects both the taste and the freshness of milk over time.
