Is Natural Caffeine Powder a Risk Factor For Miscarriage?
There have been conflicting results on the benefits of consuming natural caffeine powder. A recent study concludes that expectant mothers are put at a higher risk of having a miscarriage when consumption of considerable quantities of natural caffeine powder is ingested during the gestation period. According to De-Kun Li, the author of the study, women who intend to become pregnant and stay pregnant should avoid taking any form of caffeine product for a minimum of three months. Needless to say, it would even be much better if natural caffeine powder is totally avoided during the entire term. A number of previous studies on the same topic have been conducted but with no confirmation on the results. Around 15 – 18 studies were carried out, showing the relationship between caffeine consumption during the pregnancy period and miscarriage.
