Definitely and the benefits are numerous. For starters, native revegetation uses plant material that already exists on the site, eliminating the costs associated with planting grass and removing the continual growth process, which landscaping needs to stay “green” year-round. Second, native revegetation promotes a “non-irrigated landscape.” After plant material has successfully assimilated into its original environment, the watering process is complete. Traditional landscaping and Xeriscape each require water for the duration of its use.
