Is NASAs Public Outreach Program worth the money?
The nature of space operations and how they are managed and developed in the United States is a very public thing. Being a democratic society that is of the people, for the people, and ‘by’ the people, any major endeavor this country seeks to set its mind to must have the approval of the public or it is doomed to fail. This goes for any major movement in the government to include a Healthcare Reform Bill, higher taxes, and even a new and improved space exploration program as envisioned by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
