Is Mystery Babylon the Great linked with the ancient babylon mystery religions?
it has to be “this is the mystery that was hidden from the ages, Christ in you, the hope of glory”….this takes the concept of Christ deeply into the past and gives credence to all the “mystery religions” stories of men and women who understood how to awaken the latent “kingdom of God within you”…. baal ( any of numerous Canaanite and Phoenician deities) worship probably can’t die as man is always worshiping some kind of deity other than the first cause…and mystery babylon has to imply something more ancient than the universal or roman catholic church…so yes…yes…
