While your WHISPERMOWTM lawn tractor is capable of cutting tall grass, the best quality of cut will be realized when the grass is not overly wet and has not been left too long between cuttings. For best results, mow when your grass is dry and 3 to 5 inches tall and take off only about an 1 to 2 inches. Never cut your lawn shorter than 2 inches or remove more than one third of the leaf surface at any one mowing. By following this guideline, the result will be a greener, healthier, less stressed lawn.
