Is my warranty coverage affected if I use a third-party product with my HP ProCurve product?
As described in the warranty statement, HP’s warranty does not apply to products that have been damaged or rendered defective due to software, interfacing, parts or supplies not supplied by HP, or from misuse or operation outside the usage parameters stated in the user documentation that shipped with the product. If you are having an issue with an HP ProCurve product, HP may ask you to temporarily remove the software, interfacing, parts, or supplies not supplied by HP to determine whether or not it is causing or contributing to the defect.
