Is my vision blocked when I drive with the BakFlip in the full open position?

The BakFlip is designed so that it can be operated in increments. This means that you can drive with the cover in the full open position or any of the other 4 incremental options, e.g. all the way shut, half open, 3/4 open etc. The full open position is generally reserved for those times when you’re hauling a full load such as a couch or a desk. It’s at these times where your rear view is blocked anyway. Naturally, you will need to make use of your side view mirrors when you drive with the cover locked in the fully upright position, much like you would if you had a camper shell or were towing a 5th wheel. Please note that you DO NOT NEED to drive with the cover full open. Incremental operation is a luxury of the BakFlip as well.
