Socom 3/Combined Assault is only compatible with the Socom USB headset, USB Headset for Playstation 2, and the Logitech USB Headset for Playstation 2. Third party USB Headsets are not supported. To confirm that your USB Headset is compatible with Socom 3/Combined Assault and is functioning correctly, try using the USB Headset in the Single Player mode of Socom 3 for voice commands. Be sure that the microphone is not muted if the USB Headset contains a mute function. If the USB Headset works in the Single Player mode of Socom 3/Combined Assault for voice commands then it is compatible with Socom 3/Combined Asssault and can be used for online voice chat. If your USB Headset does not work in the Single Player portion of Socom 3 for voice commands than the USB Headset is not functioning correctly or is not compatible with Socom 3/Combined Assault.
