What all I can make out from your statement here you got married in India & got divorced in USA. If this the situation in your case & if your decree of divorce granted by the US court has not been challenged by your wife in the Indian Court, this decree will be considered as valid provided it has been granted to you & as per the provisions of section 13 of the Civil Procedure Code that provides various conditions for validating any foreign court decree in India. Unless the US court order & decree granted to you is studied I cannot give more legal opinion on this issue. Better get this divorce order & decree checked & confirmed before you move for remarriage least this divorce decree may not be recognized by the Marriage Registrar later on & refuse to register you remarriage with another lady that will be putting you in more trouble.
