Is my Superman Forever issue 1 comic book valuable at all?
Not compared to “Action Comics” #1, “Superman” #1, “World’s Fair Comics 1939”, or even “World of Krypton” #1. The basic law of supply and demand always enter into the relative value of comics books, as do the historical significance of any particular issue, the grade of any particular book, and how many copies of any issue are floating around. Since “Superman Forever” is relatively recent, the surplus supply should exceed the demand for a long time to come, but if you hold on to the book for a good long while it may increase in hypothetical value (but a savings bond is a far better investment than any comic book published after 1976, with certain exceptions).
