Is my personal statement for a economics degree in uni ok?

Firstly, try to eradicate the spelling and grammar mistakes. Secondly, a personal statement is supposed to be about you. I’d say this one is too general – it does convey your enthusiasm for the subject to some extent but tells the admissions tutor too little about yourself and why YOU would be the sort of person they were looking for. Try to include more information than having read “The Economist” or having studied Chemistry and Maths for A Level, for example what modules you have done that would link in with the subject, what got you interested in it, any activities you have participated in, any work experience you’ve had. I do agree with the above, though – people can plagiarise. Hope this helps, feel free to contact me if you have any more questions.
