Is my organization ready to enter a Hybrid Value Chain collaboration?
Hybrid Value Chain collaborations represent a new generation of partnerships. Businesses and social entrepreneurs work together towards the common goal of serving low-income communities and share the economic value created which allows for long-term sustainability. All partners actively share roles and responsibilities to deliver effective solutions to low-income clients. This implies that organizations entering Hybrid Value Chain collaborations must be able to articulate a concrete value proposition for their partner, have the organizational capacity to deliver, and commit the time and resources needed to develop the new business model. Social partners must also consider the impact of this new business venture on their mission, organization and communities. Although Ashoka does not have the capacity to provide customized services to all Fellows, CSOs and business interested in Hybrid Value Chain ventures, we want to support them by enabling the sharing of experiences, learning and tip
