It would only be a guess as to if your fish is carrying eggs. 100 liters is not a big tank for goldfish, even fancy goldfish. You answered yourself in your question. The cycling process is brutal on fish. not only will their respiratory system be damaged but their immune system as well, so they are more likely to suffer from disease. Medicating can be just as stressing on the fish as the disease you are treating, so unless you are absolutely positive your fish has ick don’t medicate as your fish are already in poor shape due to the cycling. If you are positive they have ick then treatment is your only option, because while the chances that treatment will be too much for them are high, their chances of survival without treatment are close to zero.
