Well she is with you in the first place. It depends on how long it has been between her relationship with him folding up and the beginning of you relationship with her. They are not together, but it does take some time for people to really detach from their ex. In my case I am still attached to two very significant women in my life who I went out with and will ask them for advice. The thing is if I have a gf I will tell her that this person was once very important to me and my relationship with her is not going to bear down on the one I’m with now. I don’t think you are over reacting, but I suggest you nip this one in the bud and ask your GF how she views her ex and express to her how his presence in your and her life makes you feel. A good woman will work out you are not being jealous, you are just trying to work out where you fit in. Best wishes. And keep those communication lines open with her.
