Is my hamster teddy bear hamster bored?
My hamster does this as well, along with a few i have had in the past. What i did to combat this dreadful boredom was i made him a few new places to play and chew… Start out with a paper towel roll, or a CLEAN toilet paper roll, (please not one that has been feet away form your toilet, there is sooo many bacteria it is not even funny) and fill it full of CLEAN toilet paper, lightly, theres no need to pack it tight, just enough so its like, 1/4 full maybe. Firstly, this will give you hamster a tunnel to play in, also the toilet paper is amazing bedding for their houses, It is incredably insulating, and its easy for them to chew, and move around. Also, you can cut up a small cardboard box, like a small cookie box, or a tea box. Make one end all the way open, make a hole in the other end, or on both sides, or something fun, this will make it so he has a little obstacle course, if they are left in a line… EVERY one of my hamsters has loved this.
