Is my gearbox and old Quaife F10 or how can I tell if its ?
The Quaife F10 kit comprised of a one piece input shaft and 5 speed gears, all the speed gears ran on the original vauxhall outputshaft, as far as I know this kit is no longer manufactured. The kit will fit into an F10 and F13 casing If you have F13 casing with Quaife straight cut 1st to 5th gears but a helical final drive gear pair, then its a good bet that you have a Quaife F10 gearkit. Quaifes current production F13 gearkit has no compatibility with its old F10 gearkit, if you chip a tooth on one of the old boxes it,s probably the end of the rest of the gearset.
