Howdy, It is not uncommon for female Veileds to become overweight or gravid with unfertilized eggs or both :-(. Don’t hesitate to start a post there with your own chameleon photos and get some direct feedback from other experienced female Veiled chameleon keepers :-). What you’ll likely discover is that chameleons; especially female Veileds, need very little food to maintain proper weight. You ‘ll want to start weighing her on a low-cost digital gram scale and gradually reduce her food intake until you see her loosing a couple of grams a week. Continue that until she no longer looks overweight. Then you can add just enough to keep her from loosing but not so much that she gains weight.
