Yes, because salt water pools simply make chlorine, SpectraLight is compatible with salt systems and chlorine generators. SpectraLight will allow you to dial down the amount of chlorine the salt system manufactures. However, there are pool owners who successfully use SpectraLight with no chlorine by choosing other residual sanitizers such as hydrogen peroxide. Again, we recommend a low level of chlorine for safety and simplicity.
