Is my DSC ID number required to log into DSConnect or access Banner?
No, it is not. Students, faculty, and staff will continue to log into DSConnect using their usual login names and passwords. However, faculty advisors that are accustomed to entering their advisees SSN when registering, will now enter the DSC ID instead. Of course, advisors may also continue to select their advisee from their pull-down advisee list or search by name. As a temporary transitional measure, advisors may select their advisee by entering their SSN or DSC ID number through Fall 2007 Registration. Beyond that period, direct ID entry will be via DSC ID number only.
