Is my donation to a project on LongTail Grants tax deductible?
No. At this time none of the donations sent through LongTail Grants will be tax deductible. Many of the grantees are not representatives of 501(c)(3) charitable organizations that qualify for tax deductible status. To prevent confusion or abuse, we want to make it clear that no donation to an individual through LongTail Grants is tax-deductible. Please refer to our Terms Of Service for more information. If you would like to give a tax-deductible donation to a nonprofit organization, please do so through their own fundraising mechanisms.
