Is my college mailing address equivalent to a P.O. box?
Your college mailing address, I’m assuming, does not connect to a specific dorm (i.e. it’s not John Smith, Schwartz Hall, Room 312, 312 St. George Street, Lewisburg, PA 17837; an example of a PO Box type would be John Smith, 700 Moore Ave, C-0317, Lewisburg, PA 17837) so then yes, it could be considered a PO Box. The best thing to do is use your college address as your mailing address for statements and such, but use your home address as your physical address.
