Consistent with most local laws, your alarm system does not directly connect to local emergency response agencies. Instead, most security systems monitored by CMS Security Services utilize the customer’s pre-existing telephone line as the primary communication link to one of our 24-hour call center facilities. What will the response time be? When your alarm activates, our call center responds promptly and consistently with local laws. We will notify police, fire or ambulance services after verifying that a true emergency has taken place. Please note: Some local governments have placed various conditions or restrictions on their response policies and do not dispatch emergency personnel based solely on alarm signals.Accordingly, CMS Security Services cannot guarantee emergency personnel will be dispatched based solely on alarm signals in certain areas.
