Long box Chev/GMC 1500 trucks (8′ box) are compatible with 8′ Marathon decks. Short box Chev/GMC 1500 trucks (6′-6″ box) are compatible with both 7′ and 8′ Marathon decks. (The 8′ decks have adjustable legs and can be modified at any time to fit in a short or long box truck) The Chev/GMC Crew Cab Model short box truck with a 5′-8″ box must be fitted with a 6′ capture-channel deck. As well, the ramp is slightly too long for this truck when stored in the ramp pocket, so the ramp hooks can either be removed before storing them in the ramp pocket, or a mesh tailgate can be used.
