Is my belly button piercing being rejected?
it would only be red, sore, pussing etc if it was infected healed belly button piercings can still reject; the skin often pushes out the foreign object in surface piercings (such as belly buttons, eyebrows) in ways that it doesn’t for other piercings (eg ear, that goes out the other side) as a long-term eyebrow piercee, it can start rejecting at any time, and once it goes there’s nothing that can be done, short of taking it out, allowing it to heal, then repiercing (under the scar tissue, so it can’t reject again)
