Is my 6 week old baby sleeping too much?

That is ok. As long as she is making up for it in the day. My boys (twins) have been sleeping like that since they were 4 weeks old. Which I def. consider myself lucky since their are two of them. But during the day they eat 6 oz every 3-5 hrs and the nights they sleep in extra they may want fed more often during that next day. As long as her weight gain is good she is fine and consider yourself lucky and NEVER complain about it. It scared me at first that my boys were sleeping so well at night. It took my first son til he was 5 months old to do that. Even though they are sleeping thru the night they have had EXCELLENT weight gain. They were born at 36 weeks weighing 4 lbs 6 oz and 4 lbs 8 oz and now they are 2 months old and weigh 11lbs! So they have more than doubled their weight in 2 months. Most babies don’t double their weight to closer to 4-6 months. Like I said as long as she is happy and gaining weight there is no reason for concern. My oldest son is 20 months old and is a grea
