It is possible to distribute large MVD calculations using the Molegro Virtual Grid solution. Notice that Molegro Virtual Grid requires a separate license in order to use it on multiple machines. It is also possible to script the docking engine using the built-in scripting language or external scripting languages (such as Python). This makes it possible to distribute larger docking runs across several machines. Notice that the MVD license permits the user to install and run MVD on an unlimited number of machines or CPU’s. There is no additional ‘per-cpu’ cost involved when not using the Molegro Virtual Grid.
