Musician’s Friend and Guitar Center are the same company, that’s why any price differences are basically just accounting for shipping costs. Some people don’t enjoy the environment of Guitar Center or can’t find certain things they need at Guitar Center, so they order from Musician’s Friend. MF is also an online store, so the item would have to be shipped with you, you wouldn’t have it for immediate pickup. Personally I would never buy an amp or guitar from Guitar Center. People treat the equipment very poorly there, so I go there for small purchases or to try out things and then order them online if I like them. Hope this helped.
