I think it’s because of the type of music discussed in this area. Most of the “questions” are related to current/recent pop literature… not the classics. I have found a lot of classical music/music pedagogy questions in the Arts and Humanites, Performing Arts category. It sucks I know, but not everyone has a sophisticated ear such as you and I.
