Is MTVs Real World staged?
Like yourself, I used to watch MTV’s The Real World years ago as a teen. I loved it. Seeing real people living out this wierd experiment was like a drug to me. I couldn’t get enough! From what I gather, the first show, set in New York, was definitely not staged, scripted, or any of the above. People were recruited through fliers posted at colleges and public areas around big cities. No sending in your video tapes as auditions.
