Is moving away from home for college is going to be as hard as I think it will?
I enjoyed moving away from home for college. I was a tiny bit homesick at first, but I quickly made friends and loved the new found freedom I had. Make sure that you communicate with your family — if you’re missing them, they’re probably missing you, too. So, let them hear from you and hear how — and what — you’re doing. The down side is that there is no one there to remind you that you need to get your homework done or you better not be late for class, or don’t forget to eat breakfast or whatever — if you had someone helping remind you of those things before, good luck, because you’re on your own now.
