IS MONOGAMY A SUPERSTITIOUS BELIEF?
Monogamy (“one woman”) is a sociocultural standard aimed at limiting a man having only one wife. The purpose is apparently two-fold: (1) To make sure that every woman has at least one man, and (2) that, when there are children from a sexual union, there will be both a mother and a father to raise them. More importantly here, however, you seem to have some pretty clear racist biases against India and the people who live in India. You clearly assume that they have many “gullible beliefs” (unlike you, whose beliefs are not gullible but true and reasonable). You may want to examine your own racist thoughts and beliefs before you put them out on this site for others to see. If I were Indian, I would be offended by your remarks. And as it is, I am embarrassed by what you said and hope that you will be able to get over your narrow-mindedness in the near future.
