Is money a good motivator for employees?
It certainly helps! Money is a good tool for motivation, but not the only one. Sincere positive complements and public recognition is also good. Small gifts that indicate you know your employee will help. Call them by their first name, learn and use their Wife/Husband and children’s names in conversation. Ask about them in ways that show that you listen to your employee. Using all these suggestions would certainly help. Theres the tip of the iceberg, I’m sure there are more.
